第一個 comment 是針對 mach 作的... mach 是好是壞很多人有不同意見，所以 Linus 說 mach 是一堆垃圾，見仁見智。但是他並沒有直接對 Mac OS X 講太多事情。
他有這台 Dual G5 好像已經很久了，不過大概他從一開始就沒有真的用 Mac OS X 當作工作平台過。 I am expecting more kernel work in ppc from him. In the sense promoting G5 sales, he is still a friend.

題外話，Linus 不愛 micro kernel 和 proprietary OS 是人所共知的。所以他不認同 Mac OS X 的取向不是新聞，更不應驚訝。
倒是他對 PowerPC 的肯定，相對於他自己在 Transmedia 工作的身分，有點令人意外。當然，今天 Transmedia 在倒閉邊緣，但 Linus 是兩年前， Transmedia 邀請他加盟時便已經轉用了 PowerMac 了。
